Anyone know why when I try and open a media file the page opens up and it looks like Chinese chacaters? Nothing plays?

thats because you opened up the chinese version of pandoras box. Please close and give it to the screaming tree at the far side of south africa. He will deal with it and then give you a password that will grant you access to your media file.
