K-Lite Mega Codec pack performance issue

Hi all, I’m new here and really need your help, sorry if this minds you.

I’ve just installed K-Lite Mega Codec 3.9 on my laptop (default setting). It seemed to be fine, until I played an .avi file and a lot of vertical green lines appears on part of the screen , audio’s still fine. I tried to play by BSPlayer Pro, WMP 11 - no sound, no video, Media Player Classic - the same result with BSPlayer.
I thought may be the reasson is the file is bad, so I tried to play it on my desktop computer, it works well. I installed K-lite Mega Codec pack on my desktop about 4 months ago (found no issue yet). So I think there are some problem with the installation, i re-installed K-lite on the laptop, but nothing’s changed!

Would someone give me clue or a solution to try?. I also run K-Lite Tweak to detect broken codec, but it didn’t work. Plz don’t tell me because of the device - my laptop’s even better than the desktop, and it plays other files well.
