i need serious help with this codec Error ID = 0xC00D1199, Condition ID = 0x00000000.....this codec keeps commin up then i try to play a movie i downloaded,it wont play on anything ive got on my computer.some one please help me out..

try to download the Angel Potion Codec fro internet. - this codec is responsable for playing AVI...

Error ID = 0xC00D1199, Condition ID = 0x00000000 describes my problem too!... I was given a home made CD with the extension .mov and my system won’t accept it. Any help gratefully accepted!

it sais it all there, and d/l divx from their site, www.divx.com there is a free one. And it plays it.

Everyone that is having the error ID= 0xc00d1199
This means that the file is incomplete or damadged. However sometimes the Divx Player will play it.

Oh Ya I Have the problem no avi file will play on any including dvix player installed on my computer it all started when I installed the xpcodec pack from betanews file forum what happened as far as I can tell Is That installing the codec pack rewrote
my regestry breaking the links to the file avi codec
or corrupted the codec and as far as I know since I can’t repair without setting my reg back to before that time and since too much has changed the only way to actualy fix the problem is to uninstall (In sys the total of the multimedia section of windows after uninstalling all media software and then reinstall the multimedia section of Windows then reinstall all media software WOW

Ya, u can use QUICK TIME to play that file. I tried playing it with different players, and everytime it playes with Quicktime.

well, try downloading the codec pack from www.divx.com or just google your error and see the codec u need.

download VLC vedio player. i bet it will play the file.

that was VLC media play

i chaged some setting one time, and now i get this when tring to streem, or play online videos.

ya i have the same problem. i have a windows media player music video and it wont work and it just sez that code i tried getting vlc but it wont work either can ne 1 send me a link to were i can get vlc?

also i got a vlc media player were the icon was a trafic cone. and it didnt seem to work either
