Hi everybody.
I have a problem when trying to watch a DVD. I can hear the music soundtrack but i cant hear the sound of the film when playing DVDs on my computer, (I have windows XP). And this problem is occuring with all media players I have. I tried to uninstall the soundcard driver but it didnt work. Can u help me please? 
If it was an .avi, i’d tell you to get the xvid codec (you should try that anyway. Everyone should have it.)
Winamp and WindowsMediaPlayer are - for playing dvd’s, not really good. i would advise you to download VLC media player.

You need to configure your speakers back to stereo from surround sound. That should solve it, it did for me.
