how do i burn vlc media files on nero 6.6

i have downloaded a couple of vlc media files and can not get them on to nero 6.6 do they need to be converted
please help anyone

nero burning room not burn VLC audio movies, you must have convert this Vlc for mp3.....using:

easy cd-da extractor
jet audio plus 6.6
