how can i convert avi or mpeg files to MOD files to play on JVC HD camcorder?

I bought a JVC HD video camera that obviously creates MOD files. I want to use the camera to play other video files like AVI and MPEG. I copied other files onto JVC camera, but it did not recognize them and even did not show the files. Is there anyway I can play other files on JVC video camera? thanks.

Because you don’t have file *.THM (it’s file images to show on the camera display link to your video )

- Record 1 video (you have 1 file video and 1 file *.THM)
- you deleted file video
- after copy your video (it’s file you want play on the camera
- rename it so as to same the name file before (the name file deleted)
- Now you can play it on the camera with thumbnail old video

The name of the file that is created is *.MOI and not *.THM. Will relacing with that help??
