Can someone please tell me how to update windows 95 to 98 for free. i need this because my wireless adapter doesn’t work on windows 95

I’d skip 98 and go straight to XP. Borrow someone’s XP disc and install that.

Sorry you cannot borrow a copy of a friends xp...it is a very smart operating system and before it can be installed on a second computer you must CALL microsoft for them to give you a special number to input..otherwise it will not install...so the days of getting free upgrades are long gone..break down AND pay the $100 for the upgrade..it’s well worth it
