Fixing Windows Movie Maker (URGENT!!!)

Hello. I was making a video on Windows Movie Maker a couple of hours ago, when I clicked on the song in the video that I was working on. I was going to cut the song and make it shorter. It paused, and nothing is happening. It’s simply not working. So I pressed “ctrl + alt + delete” and it said that Windows Movie Maker was “Running”. I don’t want to close it, because it took me a long time to make this video and I didn’t want to start all over again. I really need help. Please tell me how to un-freeze Movie Maker so I can continue working on my video
