i want to email a DVD of a movie i produced. I need to rip the DVD to mpeg4 or divx or what? i own the AVIs but they are huge - like 1.5gig. How can i compress them to email (we both have broadband)???

it may be simpler to post a copy using the good old fashioned mail service.
by the time you have messed about it would be simpler.
alternatively, you could re format the video with smaller width/height and fps
