hey, I downloaded a movie off kazaa, it was a movie from the big screen, when i download the whole movie, and go to play it i get a black screen, then a little divx symbol in the bottom right corner and the rest of the movie is just a black screen with no sound. I played it on divx and nothing happened, it started to play but no picture or sound. When i downloaded it alot of people had the file so they must know how to play it, so it must work, but i can’t message them cause they never reply, what i was wondering is, is there a specail movie player you need for movies that are meant for the theatres or am i just wasting my time downloading illegal movies? please reply

try to install divx 5.11 and xvid
try “gspot info codec” to find if you have the codec in your computer and try press render to see what’s happen. with this program u will know what codec u need.
i have this same problem. i downloaded the k-lite codec pack and tried a divx. no luck
i downloaded divx 5.1 seperatly and tried a divx and no luck.

at suprnova.org I downloaded a tv show and it in HDTV format how do I put this onto a DVD?
Kaytea: If it is an ISO file (a CD image), you have to use something like Nero burning ROM software.
I am also having the same problem with downloaded files.
Any help on opening these files?
