First let me start by saying no theres nothing wrong with the iso. file nor is there anything wrong with Daemon tools basically heres my problem
I mounted a file called systemshock2.iso or somthing along the lines of that file name to Daemon tools then used it to install the file which went ok but when i tried to play the game i get an error that states that it cannont locate the correct CD-Rom and i should try again.
i thought Daemon tools worked so that i didnt need the original copy of the disc to play it i thought i could just play the downloaded file from my hard drive someone plz help me =/

oh and i also extracted the iso. file useing ISObuster i dont know if thats relivent at all i just needed to extract it to be able to mount it.

ok so maybe my problem has to do with the fact that i need to burn the iso. file onto a blank CD and so i guess now my question is can you run the iso. file from your hardrive instead of having to create an actual CD to run it?

Some programs will look to see if daemon tools or other cd image mounting software are installed, and will not work correctly if they find them. It’s something to prevent piracy. Just use the original CD if you have a legitimate copy.
