Creating MPEG-4 files for the Panasonic E100 ?

Hi there,

I’ve got a Panasonic DMR-E100 DVD recorder and it is able to record and playback MPEG-4 files (in .ASF files).

What I’d like to do is convert some existing videos I have on my PC (the usual assortment of DIVX stuff).

Does anyone know what format .ASF file I should convert my videos too ? What codecs are required ? And if there is a wizzy tool that will do it all automagically for me ?
