Can't play SVCD

Hello. I need some help here. When I try to play an SVCD on WMP,I get a 'one or more codecs were not found' or something like that message.

What Codec should I download? I tried using the AVICodec program to find out but it doesn’t work.

SVCD’s are in mpeg-2. You’re probably better off using a free alternate player such as media player classic or videolan. If you absolutely insist upon playing your SVCD in Windows Media Player, you’d have to get an mpeg-2 decoder (such as the one sold by elecard - they have a free trial period though) or dvd software (powerdvd, windvd, etc - also pay).
