I have a message coming up cant play file on specified MCI device (MMSYSTEM296)
Any ideas on what codec I need to download?? 
I have a message coming up to which a file cannot be played on the specified MCI device. The file may be corrupt, not in the correct format, or no fil, it says. I have a Pentium4 system, WindowsXP Home Edition. What do I need to get this thing running? Please advise.
