Try Downloading a sertain program you can download on the internet called DivX Player. (It’s FREE.) That might help the error.
Nothing works or helps. I have installed 87 Codecs including Xvid on a ZP Pro w/SP2 and all the latest and greatest. I have even contacted Microsoft and the maker of Xvid with no tangible response. Microsoft is aware of the problem and Xvid answer was Uh I don’t know what’s wrong.
Go Figure!!!!
The COOD119 error code is file thats damaged. Probably a broken file header or its just damaged . You can try to repair it but it might not work even after you have done so. Search the Net there’s Software out there that you can use to repair files.
i nedd help with this problem, The file type is supported by the Player, but the file was compressed by using a codec that is not supported by the Player NOW.
Please...
Ok, I’m trying to put a movie file i made on my phone onto windows movie maker. The files play fine on RealPlayer, but noooo, it wont export to movie maker or play on windows media. The problem apparently is COOD1199, so how do I combat this? Any help on the matter will be most appreciated.
I have the same problem as everyone else in this forum. C00D1199... I am tring to play a file that has .avi at the end of it in Windows Media Player. I have tryed EVERYTHING that people have posted. Nothing is working for me.
Somebody please help me!!!
Wow, the VLC media player does the trick, it plays pretty much anything you throw at it as Zelda Cool had said. Thanks for the info. I had tried most of the other media players, but this one is the best that i have seen by far. Although, lol, its not pretty to look at, it still plays pretty good.
