Burning Movies

For some reason every time I burn a DVD using Nero it takes 2+ hours. I’ve tried every file format, including .avi, .mpg, .wmv, .vob and others, but it always takes 2+ hours. I just got this CD-RW/DVD-RW yesterday so I know it can burn faster than 1x.

Could Nero possibly have to encode it? I just burnt my first DVD yesterday, so I’m kinda new.

I use convertxtodvd 3 software which will convert and then burn much faster than nero and simplier.

I have a movie that is 2hrs long and wont fit on a dvd+r. How do I make it fit?
