bit torrent movies not working

Sorry im a newb. I have been downlaoding albums from a bit torrent source for a while. Recently i have been trying to do movies. Once i complete the download I have an internet link and a pile of books (winrar) I extract the files to a new folder. Once this happens some weird things happen. In one inparticular i had an audio file that was empty, and a video file that had some Mpeg files, that couldnt play, and also some links that Windows does not know who created, therefore cant open. I can try to answere the questions that you ask me, but i would really like to get this up and running. Thanks

Sounds like you download a dvd very big file and a lot of time to finish it.Next time choose a Xvid format smaller file and from it you can make a dvd.For a dvd you deal with two folders Audio ts and video ts the first one is empty the second one has ifo’s vob’s and bup’s.VOB is an image for dvd in MPEG2 format so you can play it on any player like VLC or BSplayer Media Classic.The story is longer but try to read something and download codecs you may need for playing a Xvid file.The basic is to download and install Xvid DivX AC3 filter and any codec pack you like All in One or K-Lite or XP codec.From Xvid file you can convert it with a video converter like WinAvi,Cucusoft,VSO DivX to DVD or any video editor program like Ulead Studio 9 or Pinnacle Studio 10 and so on depands by what you have on your pc.The folder you have now video ts open Nero Burning Room choose video dvd and load the entire folder.Before start burning check your video system for your country Pal or NTSC and once is done have to work on your standalone dvd player.Here are some links: http://www.free-codecs.com/
