OK I looked around here to try and see if this has already been answered but can’t find it

I have 700MB AVI that i want to burn on a DVD

I used MGI VideoWave 4 to convert it to MPEG2, the MPEG2 file plays on WinMediaPlayer... but it has no sound.

then I burned that anyway to DVD with NeroVision and its lost it’s porportion (tall and skinny)

can anyone help, especially with the sound part
or is there another way I can capture the sound from the AVI and put on top the MPEG after?

Really appreciate it

Ok for this to work it says that Windows media player has to be able to play the file. so i’m trying to dinf the codecs for this, trying not to play around too much with windows system32 files

but now i try to install Divx and it freezes

it seems here is one of my problems:

Broken Codecs

Windows Media Audio V1
FileName = divxa32.acm
Windows Media Audio V2
