Ok it does work but here his the catch, I only had downloade divx viewer. I loaded all provided in the free area and it does in fact work with the other stuff loaded...thanks.

Your simple solution to the thumbnail 47010 problem is brilliant, you might say i’m not very computer minded, i got so lost in all the different advice on forums, none seemed to work. Thanks so much for taking the time to solve so many people’s shared problem, cheers buddy....

this doesn’t work!
i had to download divx and did exacly what webbug said bur i still isn’t working!
the thumbnail decoder problem is still there!

I too am getting the same problem..but I am unable to find the divx. this is not installed in my computer/programs. Is there a way to go through the somic application?

Try this, hope it helps.

Go to:
Start
All programs
Divx
DivX codec
Decoder Configuration Utility

Uncheck the box that says “use advanced hardware overlay”

Shite. Tried step 6 and box was already unchecked. Played around with it, checking it and trying to burn the avi file using sonic mydvd plus but no go. Tried unchecking but still no go. Darn.

oh my god the solution to burn on sonic is so simple thx a lot ,

but sumthing bothers me when im trying to burn on sonic
and my file is only 700 mb and my disc kan have like 4.7 gb
why it doesnt fit on my disc ? is it like that 4 everyone or i have to do sumthing first to fit in ?
