Thank you so mush, i had this problem witk K-Lite codec ....
Premiere 1.5 won’t load and fix the problem by uninstalling all the filters and codecs in my computer, then I ran a registry cleaner, you can get one for free in downloads.com http://www.download.com/Eusing-Free-Registry-Cleaner/3000-2094_4-10658410.html?tag=lst-0-8
I ran it. It solve the problem. I don’t know if it was necessary to uninstall of the filters and codecs
(nero plug ins, direct show, F radium mpe codes, etc)but I will know as I install them one by one.

Hi all i am having the same problem with the “compilerVfw.prm” but i need to know how to disable the “core” codecs. Please give me a hand.
Constantinus, you are the man.

In the Start menu, I went to the “Ace Mega Codecs Pack” group, started “Ace Mega Codecs Pack Dashboard”, went to the “Active Codecs/Filters” tab, to the “Core” branch (they are in alphabetical order), and unchecked “CoreFlac Audio Codec 0.1.0.0”, then clicked on the “Apply ALL Current Settings” button at the bottom. It takes a few moments until it finishes applying the settings (it says “please wait” on the button you just pressed), then you can close the “Ace Mega Codecs Pack Dashboard” and start Premiere - it worked for me.
thanks dude

ACE you need a HDMI audio card to use it
I am having a similar problem on Adobe Premiere CS2 Pro/Vista - on flash screen, right after compilerquicktime.prm, the program does not load and there are no messages. I do not have ACE or Coreflex audio codec installed.
Any help is most appreciated...
