Ive just got my first pc with dvd/r on it and Im at a total loss of how to go about ripping dvds to watch on laptop and burning them onto a dvd to watch on dvd.....

firstly would need a program thats easy to use and self explantory

second i dont care about the price as long as its a good program and reliable.

any suggestion please

I use ANYDVD to remove the copy protection.. you can use any DVD player, ripper, encoder once ANYDVD is installed.

Try DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink, they are both freeware and easy to use.
