Hello

I have finally switched from PC to an Apple. Some of my .mov QuickTime files which play fine on windows will not play on the MAC. I get a message which states, files not available on server.

I thank you in advance, Rami.

Open the file with Quicktime and look under Movie and look at Movie Properties. On the left drop-down menu look at Video Track. On the right drop-down menu look at Format. What does it say next to Data Format?

This page has good info on your problem.

The sad part is it appears Ligos has no plans to port any of the Indeo codecs (3, 4, or 5) to Mac OS X.
The direct link to the Apple site is

Apparently it will only work if you reboot into Mac OS 9. (I don’t know much about Macs - is this option available to all OS X users, or is it only available if you upgraded from OS 9 to OS X?)
