Windows Media Player 9-series wont play .asf file

Why doesnt my Windows Media Player 9-series dont play .asf files??

Anybody have a codec or sumthin??

Feed the file into avicodec and find out what codec it needs.
P.S: gspot and videotoolbox can’t tell fourcc’s of asf files (yet) - only avicodec can at this time.
