Windows Media Player

Can I view .mov files on Windows Media Player? I know that you can play them on QuickTime, but I would rather not install another program if Media Player is capable. If so....how?

Quicktime movie format (.MOV) is propriety. More importantly and relevant is it’s competing with Microsoft’s format (.WMV). There is no way that Microsoft’s Windows Media Player would support .MOV.

A program that does play .MOV is Quicktime Alternative (comes with Media Player Classic (MPC)).
