Vodei videos - Hopefully the "once and for all" answer to this subject

Hi Peter or anyone, not sure if u can help. First cheers for tackling a problem affecting a lot of vodei hating people. I download the vodecoder, followed the instructions until “In the opendialog, select the extracted *.vkf keyfile and open it” - problem seems the files in question are avi files, not *.vkf or *.vdk files - does this make sense? please help. Much appreciated. Thanks again

Have you extracted the .ax from the installer of Vodei?
It’s required to get the key files.
The video files are .avi, yes but the keys are within the wrapper (the .ax file)

Yo, VideoRipper never lied!!! I just completed decrypting a gift wrapped vodei avi...and it was smooth as silk! VR, the only suggestion that I can give is on your next iteration of VoDecoder, please add some help bubbles to the icons on the toolbar. This way users don’t have to click first to find out what a button does... ;)

But regardless, this app rocks! I’ve held on to these bs files for years!

I had tried to remove vodei multi media processor for last two years.......i used.........graph edit but i was failed........but i had discovered a solution.....ashampo dvd movie burn and shirnk 3 to convert it.........but first of all you must install vodei mp............

but now i have peter’s cool vode decrypter.........
just work like a charm..........great great work........

I followed all the instructions but when I import a file it says that is not encrypted by Vodei. If I try to run it it definitely tells me to install Vodei.

Is 2.1 backwards compatible with 2.0?

Ok i have the movie loaded in VoDecoder. I am trying to process it but it says “no files decrypted”. Help?
I did extract ax file and put it in the key.
