Just tried copying a TS file from my Sagem Freeview + box to my computer. Nothing doing till I searched and found this forum.
Brilliant ! I am the least technical person you can imagine, but downloaded http://www.elecard.com/ftp/pub/mpeg/decoder/EMpgDec20.zip - clicked on the TS file and it opened in Windows Media Player - perfect.
just wondering if anyone knows how to convert to .ts files?
winix tdc-8360p - freeview box plays .ts files as i have just purchased one and this is how it saves recorded footage from the usb memory stick . . . i would like to convert other video files to .ts ?? any ideas peeps
you can try using Audials One or Tunebite (this one is really good too, I chose to upgrade to One though, but I always recommend it anyway) to convert the ts file into another format so that you can play it on whichever playback device you want. You can have a look here for more into on the ts file extension or if you want to check out how Tunebite can help you out: audials.com/en/s/converter_conversion/video/convert_ts_to_avi.html, this one shows you how to convert ts files to avi.
