Try this one, do not know if it works though:

Just tested the codec, does not work in Media Player, even though .ts gets added to its list of playable file formats.
But i can tell you about a converter though who can handle TS files and convert them to DVstraight ConvertXtoDVD
It also handles MKV, if you ever should fall over these.

VLC doesn’t work for me, it opens the file and the bar scrolls along but no sound or video. Latest WMP with elecard won’t even open the ts file.

VLC Media player pays them fine. if you have more than one, ad them to a playlist.

cheers.

So once http://www.elecard.com/ftp/pub/mpeg/decoder/EMpgDec20.zip is downloaded it will automatically work with Windows media player and play ts files? Or do I need to do something else to connect the two?

If you have an access to Mac computer, try this Mac video converter.

Supported format:
MKV/WMV/TS/M2TS/AVI/MOV/MEPG/MP4/3GP/FLV/TP/TRP/AAC/MP3...

the ts files can be recognized by my gom player.
but if the file size is above 300, a pop up appears saying gom player has encountered a problem and must be closed.
the same thing happened with my media player classic..
is there something i need to adjust with both media players??
thanks..
