Just tested the codec, does not work in Media Player, even though .ts gets added to its list of playable file formats.
But i can tell you about a converter though who can handle TS files and convert them to DVD: ConvertXtoDVD
It also handles MKV, if you ever should fall over these.

Tank you: Excellent. Elecard codec EMpgDec20 is perfect with media player
So once http://www.elecard.com/ftp/pub/mpeg/decoder/EMpgDec20.zip is downloaded it will automatically work with Windows media player and play ts files? Or do I need to do something else to connect the two?
Is it possible for convert .ts file to MP4? So I can play it on my PS3.
If you have an access to Mac computer, try this Mac video converter.
the ts files can be recognized by my gom player.
but if the file size is above 300, a pop up appears saying gom player has encountered a problem and must be closed.
the same thing happened with my media player classic..
is there something i need to adjust with both media players??
