Sorry- a game installation question...

I apologize for this slightly off-topic post, but such problems seem to have been addressed here before.

I burned a .BIN/.CUE to a CD, but when the installer for the game tries to run, all that happens is that a console window briefly flashes up, and then quickly closes up again.

Is this a copy-protection thing? Or can this be easily fixed?

(And surprisingly, I do own a serial for the game. Legally bought and all! So that’s not a problem. =P)
