Can someone please clarify which files are classified as trojans?

Is it the .avi movie file taken from a Torrent site or is it the software that go.play3w.com asks you to download that is infected...

Play3w is not recommended to be installed. Several video files
are asked to get the player but this program does contain a
virus/trojan/spyware when installed. All files requiring the player
to play the file are fake and does not contain the right video clip.
You should delete anything related to the 3wPlayer and all files
associated with the 3wPlayer.
