trying to find the ogg codec

Is it needed for playback of video content encoded with Ogg Vorbis audio?:

Did you solution your problem with the ogg format. I’ve just downloaded a film which it says is ogg format media file. I can play it on my computer, but when I record to CD my DVD (which recognises most formats) said format unknown.
