Nordic DVD won't play in DVD Player

Hey, I just downloaded Dr. No and it’s a Nordic DVD, and it won’t play in my DVD player. What is a Nordic DVD and is it possible to make it work on my DVD Player?

I just downloaded a DVD that’s “Nordic” and it plays in my computer but not in my DVD player, PLEASE HELP!

“Nordic” is a part of Northern Europe and the European DVD region is R2. If your player is set to R1 (USA) it cannot play R2 disc, unless you set the player region free.
