I have a short movie clip on my MAC with the file extension .mov ... If I put it on a Zip or CD and bring it into a PC, will it play okay.

Also, what software do I need to save the .mov as an .mpeg.

quicktime for windows plays mov files

In Windows, you can convert mov to mpeg using tmpgenc. you’ll need the quicktime plugin though.
