number 5...did everything you put, i have NFSMW but still same error as jessop348, plz insert original disc... to say its pissing me off is an understatement... must be a way around it but cant figure it out. anyone else get NFSMW to play from mds/mdf format?...installed no problem just wont play!

hi people
just wondered if any1 could help me just finished downloading some 3.65G of star wars battlefront 2 and its got a file extension of Mdf and my computer does not reconise the file format.
is there anyway i can run this on me computer?
do i need anyother progamme to run it? if so what?

any suggestions would be of a great help

um... wtf are mdf’s and mds’s . i just got FEAR and i extracted to see its a mdf and an mds, i have alcohol 120% but it says it doesn’t want to run it becuase its an “invalid image file”
plz someone help me!

got all the game on the drive by READING this forum so many thanks to every1 that has posted a useful response to the very first question.

just one thing that i cant get to work and its got me in a bit of a mess.....
the bloody serial key.
The one i had was wrong and the 3 others that lets say i found dont work either.
Is thre anyway to get round this...ie any cracking software out there that i can gat

alright, i know everyone is asking for help but no ones giving it but im desperate for help too cuz im a noobie to all this as well. Well i got prince of persia: the two thrones, and it came with all that mdf,mds crap and i have alcohol 120%, daemon tools, isobuster, and starforce nightmare, but i have no idea what to do with any of it . . . anybody????
and maybe by answering my question you’ll be answering alotta other people’s questions too, thanx

I dl MK deception was 2.02gb from emule. Its got files GP-mkd.001 up to number 044 theres also a gd-mkd.stv but that ones only 2kb... windows doesn’t have a programme for any of these files wat the hell do I get an ISO image from these? (do I need to?) I was going to burn on ach 120%??

Here is what a kid said: quote:
1: extract it with winrar
2: get iso buster so u can see the file as an .iso
4: open nero
Loacate your .iso file and open it with nero
5: Select the DVD section then DVD ISO. After u open ur file set the burn speed to x4 and click burn.

6 : Play until u drop.

just figured it out, they were rar files but the program just didn’t know there where... so I just extracted the 001 file and it made an ISO image. hope this help someone I been trying to fig that 4 ages!

anyone know a programme where u can test ISO images see if they work before u burn them? I know Downloaded images aren’t the best I’ll rent from Blockbuster next time.

I have a question... I’m trying to burn my regular “diablo” cd onto my hard drive so my brother and I can play the game at the same time on multiplayer. We can do this by installing the spawn but it only last so long.. so... I tried opening the cd from my computer and then copying all the files to a folder on my hard drive.. well that took 5 mins... so then I ran it w/o the cd and all went well but then it loaded and asked for the cd to be in.. so If you can help please do it. Thank you.

hey i just downloaded need for speed most wanted and i mounted it with 120% and i installed it and got a cd key but right before it finishes it says i must have direct x 9 or higher. so then i reinstalled directx and i also reinstalled my display drivers and i still have the same problem. could this be caused by a data corruption in the downloaded file file??

Hi all,

i’ve played fm for a long time now. Unfortunate all i have is the original installation of the game and the cd is corrupt. If i have understood people correct it is not pirating as long as i have actuall bought the game but just want to run it without the cd (which is broken anyway). My problem is that i do not have any mds file (this is on the cd right).

When the game is actually installed, is there someway i can run the game without the cd? i only have an exe file. will my save games be lost or what, but most important, how can i run it when the game is already installed?

hi i have the full version of 'football manager 2006' and i have installed it.. my little sister has snapped the cd (grr) is there any way i can still play the game?? i have downlaoded daemon tools and alcohol, i have also downlaoded an image file from 'gamecopyworld.com'. i have changed the windows compatibly to windows 2000 service pack 5... and when i try to mount the image into daemon tools it says...unable to mount image. file not accesible... plz help as i dont know what to do
