MDF-MDS files

Hey guys first post. My question is that i d/l FM2006 fine unzipped the mds and mdf files then using alcohol 120 i burnt the image to a cd. I then went to install the game on my laptop it get about a third through then i get a 1305 Error. saying that it cant read from C:\Programfiles\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2006\data\graphics\pictures\players\regens\4035.png

Then it asked to retry or cancel you click retry but it happens so you have to cancel the install.

I tried reburning the image but i get the same error but with a differnt png. file.

I want to be able to install the game on my laptop using only a CD and no image mounting things.

i need help my fm2006 game is not working .. ive installed it but when i click to go on it nothing comes up but sounds a sif its loading ??

Thanks for all the help everyone - I’m a newbie to all this stuff and without this forum would still be struglling to work what to do with my newly downloaded FM 2006 file! Very much appreciated and good of you guys to take the time to lend a helping hand.

Have followed the instructions to the letter and have had the game running three times - slight problem is that when I go to settings and set 'fm.exe' as the game filepath (in the Sports Interactive directory or from the desktop) I get an error message saying 'no protection found, select it yourself'.

I do this and set it to SecuRom 7, however when I try to start the game from the Anti-Blaxx menu I get an error message saying 'please insert the CD'. Its baffling me because I’ve managed to somehow get it to work and load up its just when I exit the game and attempt to restart it seems like the settings for SecuRom or the filepah have become invalid and stopped working?

Just wondering if anyone else had experienced anything similar or had a possible soloution? I’ve had a good look through the pages and can’t see anyone with the same problems - like I say I’m new to this so it’s probably a simple cock up on my part but any help would be very gratefully received... haha! Though saying that I’m not so sure it would be a good idea if I got it going cos I’ve got an essay due on the 4th, nevermind who needs education when you got Footie Manager!

i have downloaded frozen throne and i mounted it on alcohol 120%. ALso have installed the game, but i still says i need to put the cd in the drive for the game to work. What can i do, do i need to make a mds/mdf image on alcohol or what?

Had FM6 working fine using anti-blaxx for a couple of days but now when the game loads up I just get a black screen. Tried reinstalling from scratch as well but no luck.

Any one else had the same problem??

ive got FM 2006 working using Daemon tools but cnt install patch as it says fm.exe is being processed by anothre program any help pls

you dont have to burn with alcohol..

use DAEMON TOOLS... install it... mount it... and ENJOY

Just use the original cd , make an image using alcohol 120 , dont worry about errors when it burning , when it finish u have to use daemon tools and anti-blax .
Firstly , mount with daemon tools the image (you have first copy the image to a place in your hard drive) . Right click on daemon tools - virtual cd rom choose device number ( 0 ) - mount image( in the place you have put the image and select it )
and after you go - emulation - on daemon tools and click - safedisk - .
Secondly , run anti-blax then right click on it and select Service , press " first " in the middle of the window and name your game .Then on the top of the window find the " box " of daemon tools (just find the exe - run file of daemon ) if you have alcohol do the same in his box (better is to have it ) .Now you have to go in " protection box " and select secuRom 7 and next to it find the exe-run file of FM2006 from your hard drive and choose it . After click the " box device " and select ( 0 ) and to the box next just find and select the image you have mount from your hard drive and then close the window and run the game from his option ( you have named it ) . Good luck and sorry about my english .

I mouted the file for FM06 but when i started it said insert correct cd rom

ok, i downloaded quake 3 i have a MDS and a MDF file, the install is the MDS the larger file but i cant run it and its askingme to choose a programm to run forit but nohing i have works, can anyone help me?

I just have “NT 4.0” under “compatibility” and NOT “NT4.0 (Service Pack 5)" and i dont get it to work! =( Whats wrong and how can I get(Service Pack 5)??

WHY DONT SOMEONE JUST MAKE A NO/CD CRACK!! so we can all stop messing about with anti blaxx.. which I hate cos it messed up my demon tools!

ok, i downloaded civilization 4, installed, mounted and all......and i have safedisc4 hider, (Amazing program) the download came with 2 files the game in mdf for and another...in mds....i run the game and it tells me that it has encountered a problem.....how can i use the mds file.....would that file perhaps help solve the issue?

i got 236 .rar files with 1 .mds and 1mdf files i whant to instal that game...how i suppose to do....there’s no .iso to put this all files togheter....

I have a problem. I have Star Wars Battlefront 2 on copy discks and they were on mdf and mds formats.When I install game and try to play a screen comes out with note: Conflict with Disc Emulator Software detected. See http://www.securom.com/emulation_detected for more details.
