Hi Guys,

I have just downloaded some free software after extracting i have the following files;

1 x .nfo file

1 x Folder Named CD1 - Which Contains .001 file to .052 and also a .SFV file.

1 x Folder Named CD2 - Which Contains .001 file to .032 and also a .SFV file.

How do I put this onto a disk or at least install it???

Thanks

Mark

Case 1:
They’re rar archives. If you have winrar or winace, right-click the first one, then pick extract here. (Try this first).

Case 2:
They’re split files. Use HJSplit to recombine.

Then depending on what you get, you can decide what to do. If they’re CD images, which I suspect by the name of the folders they’re in, you can either burn the CD images (burn them as CD images - not as a data CD with the image file on it - if you don’t have a burning program for the specific image format you get, try imgburn); or you can mount them using something like daemon tools (mounting means the CD image gets treated like it’s an actual CD or DVD drive (virtual CD/DVD drive), but it’s just a file on your hard drive). If you use daemon tools, I’d recommend setting a restore point before trying. I’ve seen some rare cases of people reporting BSOD with recent versions (may not happen to you, but with a restore point at least you could go back in case anything goes wrong).
