.img file

guys help i downloaded a game that it is img file how do i use it????

use extractnow to make VOBfiles out of the IMG
Then burn the VIDEO_TS que to disk

just rename to .iso and then open with winrar. it shows the hidden .vob or whatever is inside and you can extract and play 'em right away.

I also rename it to ISO and it worked. Thanks buddy

I use 7zip: a free alternative for winrar. Unpack the .img to a new folder. It will create a VIDEO_TS within that folder filled with the VOB files. You must be able to play the movie now (e.g. in Microsoft Media Center). Do delete the .img file after unpacking to safe discspace

I just used the program Folder2Iso ver 1.7 and it easily converted to ISO in minutes. Then opened VLN player and it played the ISO file - no problem.

Just noticed scharnhorstge’s post and tried renaming the file to .iso - worked like a charm so could have saved myself the hassle of doing a file conversion... oh well....

Hey there is a prorgam better than your is called Magic DVD Ripper you could place it on your ipod PSP it works so make a record for thata if if wprk.

just download .exe saoetfre and install. then you can right click on the folder/file u want to uncompress and click unzip and then the work is done .delight in!!!
