just goto http://www.media-convert.com choose your .rmvb file and select real video (.rm) from the input format and select output as wmv or mpeg1 and you can upload it too... plus you wont need a real player

How did you manage to rename the RMVB files to AVI or MPG/MPEG?

I tried but Windows kept the extension RMVB after the AVI etc on my system.

I did find that an encoder of mine converted them fine however.
Here’s what I noticed:

Mpg was louder

Mpg was slightly more pixelated
Mpg had slightly higher contrast

How can I play rmvb on Mac?

i downloaded dragon ball z all episodes and its in rmvb format,.... GOM wont play it,.. gom couldnt find a codec for it, real alternative couldnt play it either..., all have problems rendering the file,...please help,...thanks

I got trouble with getting MPC to play sound for .RVMB ; now what should i do.. i tried with K-Lite, RAlt combination it didnt work, then i tried with CCCP (combined community codec pack) and RAlt its the same... it just doesnt play sound.
Tried reinstalling WinXP and after reinstall it was the same as before... I just can’t find the catch. Please help.
