Download, install and try playing the RMVB files. It comes with the required codecs. It’s what I use for RMVB :-)

eyz Guest | Ah 'Real' guru!! i’m desparate for help and answer!! I don’t really have much a problem playing rmvb file with ver. 10 Real Player. But after formatting my comp and installing it with a XP pro as what it used to have. I now have problem playing NEW rmvb files which I had download with my bittorent program. It has a dislog box saying “Real Player could not locate the specific file. If you have moved this clip, please locate ir below”. When I tried viewing older rmvb files which I’d downloaded before I format my comp, it does not pose any problem. So 'Real' Guru, what is the problem over here??? Help me!! Thanks a million!

steve Guest | Hi, plz could some1 help me. I have dl a music video and i think its encoded with the latest REAL PLAYER (v10, I think?) and I can’t seem to play it properly on my xbox XBMC (CVS 01/feb2005), I followed this thread all the way - but no sucess. The *.rmvb file just play fine for 2sec and then freezes, have tried on XBMP 2.4+ version too, same result.
Is the codec web page suggested in this thread on page1 is not uptodate??
Pls advice, many thanks.

Paul Luk Guest | I’ve download a series of movie (1-25) which in rmvb format, some of the files (1-20) can play and some files(21-25)can’t play.
When i try to play it, a msg said that it needs to download new software. But the real network doesn’t have that software available.
The feedback message is about “no software support for RMV." I think there is some protection done by the publisher.

Telcontar Guest | I downloaded Real Player Alternative and a movie from Bittorrent, however whenever I try to play it it says
“Media Player Classic could not render some of the pins in the graph”
What does this mean, and how do I fix it?
