We can copy the .cda files from an audio CD thru Windows media player’s rip(Copy) option. not even windows media player’s version 10 is needed, even the function works in version8.0

inorder to know how to use it, insert the CD and then go to media players, file menu..copy..copy from audia player..select the song and then click copy music. it copies to ur music library in .wmv format and it plays !!

try it out.

You guys are never going to get to read a cda file without the cd. I made this mistake of copying the cd files to my hd and then, I eject the disk and I couldn’t read. It’s because a .cda file is a reference to the point that is ripped in the cd. There is no music there! reply

My .cda files are already saved on my PC. I have literally tried everything to no avail. Can someone please advise me how to:
1. Play the file on my PC
2. Burn it to a CD to be played in a CD player reply
