how to convert flv files into dat format

i want to download video songs to my ipod for that to happen i first download songs from youtube to real player in flv form n they are n it is to be converted before syncing to ipod but only dat files can be synced wat can i do

DAT file can also not be accepted by iPod.
You need to convert FLV video to MP4 with a video converter.
The video converter in my signature is for Mac OS, if you wanna a windows version, just search iskysoft video converter on google.
