how do I play .rar files?

.rar files are not videos. They’re archives like .zip files. You can store one or more files in them and shrink it. As for extracting the contents you can use WinRAR or WinAce. I see you only have three parts, so the odds of recovery are low. Generally you need all the parts to reconstruct the whole archive.

I have the same problem I do have all of the parts from part 1 to part 2184 but when I try to extract them nothing works I used winrar and filzip... but they are just copying the files to another folder when I extract them... what do I do

All you have to do is go to download.com, under search, type .rar converter, it will list 5-9 different decoder/converter, the 1st 3 are easy to use, simply open the program, drag the file and click extract, set the path that you want your files to be extracted into, and complete the job.

you should only need to attempt the extraction on *.part1.rar, and make sure all the parts in the same folder, it will find the rest of the files needed for reconstructing the file on its own. WinRAR that is anyway.

first of all rar files can be played in VLC media player. secondly its good to extract the rar files. you need to download winrar just search it on google and use it to extract the files.

.rar files are packed file formats. use any program to unpack and then find the right file to play. for packing and unpacking I use total commander but there are lots of other progs for that as well. (:

ok lissen,
.rar is not a movie file. download winrar, install, then use it to EXTRACT the movie file in it. then, go to where ever you extracted it to, and play it. if winrar cannot open the .rar file, the .rar file is probably fake.
