Extension: .RMVB

I basicaly got the same problem of ranjith.I can only 'listen' .rvmb files even if they’re both audio & video.Actually i play them with videolan 'cause i can’t even install realalternative(143);Once I’ve downloaded Realalt143 by clicking on the icon, a message says i can’t interact with it 'cause i’m not a member or an adminaistrator.I just don’t get it:you cannot register in that site (http://home.hccnet.nl/edskes/mirror.htm )

Hey guys, i have winavi, but when i select the file i want to convert it says “unable to source file”. Can anybody help me with this?

Hi i got a question... i am trying to convert my .RMVB files to avi or ne thing... but everything i download (converter programs) it says it cant read it ... but the program itself says it can... i tried EO program and i can not add .RMVB files to the playlist.. can anyone help me?

i use winavi converter to convert rmvb files.
but there hv a msg write unable to the source files. anyone can help me solve the problem?

I’m having the same brightness problem a few other dudes had.
I used to be able to adjust the brightness in WMP, however I recently formated, and am no longer able to do so.

Changing the brightness through my Graphics card changes everything BUT the video, anyone got any ideas?

i use jet audio and its wicked a very clear pic and sound is awesome

I have a real player and i can my videos (anime)
but have a problem the videos are on the contrary (down head) please what i do!!!

Does anyone have an answer to all the questions? I too have the same issue. I downloaded some movies in RMVB extension but couldn’t burn into a DVD dics. I have RealPlayer Classic where I can view it but I don’t really like the graphics cos it’s not as smooth as watching it on the big screen. I really need to find a solution fast cos I have a lot of files to burn. Pls HELP!!!

well, i don’t know about u guys i can play the video fine, i meant the .rmvb videos oviously, and for those who wants the .rmvb to burn into dvd, well here is a very small tip: if the movies is divided into 2 parts, most are, and have huge names, u can do one thing to keep the original file intact, just copy the original file and paste in the desktop. then rename the file upto .rmvb ex. cd1.rmvb or cd2.rmvb or the movie name1.rmvb etc. then goto command, from there rename the file on the desktop xxx.rmvb to xxx.avi and wallaw it got changed to avi, and furthormore it has no trouble, no download no nothing. then make dvd using nero 7 i belive it makes dvd within 2 hours, and congratulation u made an .rmvb to a dvd file and it only to a max of 2 hours, hope this helps and for those guys who want to play an rmvb file, u can download realplayer and k-lite video codec, u wont have any problem there after in playing any type of video files.

I tried to change the extension file but still when I try to burn using Nero burner, it can’t. It states “unable to insert c://......\xxx.mpeg.

I can play .RMVB movie by realplayer or real alternative. However, I just can’t convert it to other formats like MPG, I’ve tried lots of converter mentioned above. it seems the Real Media codec can’t be installed. somebody can tell me why?????????????????????????????????????????????
