Yeah I’m looking for the same thing... or at least a player to play the dav files.
I got camera footage and i urgently need to be view on a PC
in an another site i saw that one player worked for some ppl and it didnt for others, I’m one of those others.

I was having problem with DAV files too. I got a converter in http://www.bahamassecurity.com/software/cctv-software/dahua-avi-convert.asp and it’s great! It doesn’t convert to mpg, ONLY for avi. Worked for me. Good luck!
