i have Dled a xvid-imbt movie, and it opens in WMP and VLC player, the movie is 20secs long and it comes on the screen (like it was added to the movie) says codec error, redirecting to MS Dl page, and goes to a website wanting me to take some surveys

did you get a bunch of files with extensions like .r00, .r01, or .rar?

If so, you will need a program called Winrar to unpack all the files to get the final .avi video file.

Just google Winrar and dl the free trial version, it never expires.

Then right click the lowest .rar file, probably .r00 and it will extract all the files into one .avi for you.

That will be the movie and will play using VLC player.

Markg Good Luck,
