Lrnr Guest | You have to burn the image to a CD using the Clone CD software.
This software(trial version) can be downloaded from www. clonecd.net
Read the manuals on their help pages and I believe you should be able to burn this image to a CD like an actual file.
Good luck mate !!

DaJesta Guest | Or use an img opener like daemon.........
http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/portal/index.php
Don’t even bother to burn, just open and enjoy the movie.
Cheers!

Kenan Bektas Guest | SFV files are for integrity check of the files.
You don’t need to do anything with them, unless you want to double check if the files are downloaded properly.
Good luck. | |

irnis Guest | Try the Advanced CheckSum Verifier from http://www.irnis.net to verify .SFV files

Rakesh Guest | Hi my name is Rakesh. I downloaded a rar file Which consists of *.sfv file *.img can be opened by any image drives like clone cd image drive software or VirtualCD image Drive but it is being to tough to know How to Open *.sfv file Help me..

DaJesta Guest | Don’t try to open SFV files. They’re added to verify the integrity of your download (like CRC, checksum and hash checks). There should be additional files in your download. Probably *.001, *.002. Just open *.001 with winrar and unzip it to a folder. That’s all.

Son Guest | hi, i wanted to ask about something similar to this topic. I downloaded a zip file that was supposed to be a video game with multiple discs. the other discs worked because they were in .cdi format and i easily put them onto a disc. but one of the zip files contained files that ended with .001, .002, etc. i wanted to know if there is any way to convert these files.

jo99 Guest | These 001 002 files area spanned archive they will all be the same size except the last one usually around 15Mb or 50Mb. All you do is hold down shift and click on the 001 extension then select the new menu option 'open with..' then select winrar from the list and tick the check-box that says always use to open these types of files way .. for sfv look up simple SFV checker from download.com

Phil Micech Guest | I can’t open a .IMG file as when I try it, an error comes back on IrfanWiew with 'Can’t read file header, Unknown file format'.
What are some things to try?
Thanks.

DaJesta Guest | Try using deamon tools. You can find it at http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/portal/index.php
Just mount the image and you’ll find a drive on your system with the contents of the image displayed and fully accesible.
Have fun. | |
