Along with the rest of the world, I too am looking to convert VCD and SVCD movies to DVD format. I think that I have read somewhere that there is a way to extract and or mount the info on the bin file and create a DVD compatible format from it somehow and I know that if this is possible that there is someone out there who knows how to do it. Why isn’t anyone posting legible answers to these valid questions?

DINOZ RIGHT CUZ IVE ALSO BEEN DOIN THE SAME SHYT HEZ BEEN DOIN...BUH...I ALSO UNDERSTAND WUT 'YO' IZ SAYIN...AND WAT 'YO' IZ SAYIN IZ CORRECT...BECAUSE IVE USED WINISO TO FIRST TURN MY .AVI INTO ISO THEN FROM ISO TO .BIN AND WHEN U BURN .BIN TO A CD IT WONT WORK OUT BECAUSE WHAT U GOT ON UR CD IZ A .AVI INSTEAD OF A .BIN...AND DINO THE MOVIEZ AND GAMEZ AND CRAP U DOWNLOAD AND SHYT IZ ALL FROM THE DISK TO .BIN/.CUE SO IF U WANNA MAKE UR .BIN’S UR GUNNA HAVE TO GO AND BUY THE GAME/MOVIE/CRAP AND THEN TURN IT INTO STRAIGHT .BIN... THATZ THE ONLI WAY ITLL WORK OUT FOR YA
IF THIS IZ CONFUSIN READ IT 3 OR 4 MORE TIMEZ

Yo,
You are completly retarted. A bin file, as long as its a movie will play on any dvd player as long as it can read vcd or svcd cds. This is something that has been around for a while. I just burnt a 2 hour movie in bin format to an 80 min cd-r and guess what, the fuckin movie played just fine for all 2 hours. this is in my pioneer 5 disc dvd player not my computer. You should really get your shit together before you start ragging on someone. You are the biggest moron in the history of life. I work for an internet company and know a lot about this shit, if you think you cant play a bin movie file on a regular dvd player you are the lose. As long as that bitch will play vcd or svcd you can play them fuckers no problem.

Your a bunch of lamers, but i like the fact u support our KvCD’s and yes, a DVD players have been known to play movies str8 from a cd-r and not a DVD-R+. a dvd player can strictly read a divx movie from a disc, i think each and every one of you is pathetic... especially the dude cracken on Dino.. that guy is a recreation of a jew in a wheelchair

*want bin/cue copied to DVD(not cd-r) to play in normal DVD player.
*Don’t need to know how to convert usable file types to the one we can’t use thats just F**kin retarded.
anyone able to help?
Poor guy’s been waiting forever for such a simple answer. Here you go buddy...
1. Use MagicISO to open the bin file. (open MagicISO, click file, then open. navigate to your bin file. click open)
2. Extract the video file (usually in AVI format) to a folder of your choice using MagicISO. (right click on the file, it will usually have a .DAT extention at this point, click extract. then navigate to a folder you want to save it in. click ok)
3. Use WinAVI Video converter (or another converter of your choice) to convert the extracted AVI flie to DVD files (ie .VO
(pretty straight forward program, don’t think I need to explain much. Just choose the format you want, open the file, choose where to save it and convert) **for north america, don’t forget to make sure it converts to NTSC format. These options are under the “Advanced” button
4. Burn the .VOB files using Nero (or whatever burning software you use). Do this by choosing “Burn image to disc”. Then choose to add “DVD-Video files”. Then put your newly converted .VOB files intothe “Video TS” folder. Click Next. Name your disc. Choose your speed. Burn.
Thats it! Sounds like a lot, but its REALLY simple. I should point out that although this method DOES WORK, its not going to improve video quality at all since you are starting out with a file of lesser quality usually. But at least you can then burn it on a DVD, like you asked.

I,m back
Hows it hanging Bjarne, havn’t been here for a while.
I see this forums spawned another whole new generation of numbnuts, each with their interpretation of who’s right.
Those guys that say their stand-alone DVD players can read bins and cues, put the disc back into the computer open it up in explorer, is it bin and cue?
It’s all good reading nethertheless.

Dino is right,
I found this thread looking for exactly the same converter as dino. if you dl a movie from bittorrent or bitlord etc you have an image file ok i have dl’d the departed i have an image file thats 817,424 KB. I also have an image file that is 1 KB if I double click the image file it will open in nero burning rom and fit on a 700MB CD because it is compressed.
I think Dino wants the same converter I am looking for as it is so frustrating waiting 2 hours for a vcd or svcd that can be made in 5 minutes using the image and .bin files.
I have actually found a such converter but its a con to get you to pay as it only converts 50% of the vid unless you pay its by a company called aone i am presently looking for a crack for it to check it works. hope this helps dino.
If any of you fucking morons dont believe .bin files work with image files in nero then download bitlord goto isohunt and download departed. fuck you all except dino who has some common sense.

Jesus Christ. Seriusly. With people like you all, no wonder we can’t stop fighting fucking wars, and keep trying to kill each other. yo, thanks for that post, it really cleared alot up for me. I think. Were you saying that if the .bin file is burned to a CD-R, and the CD-R then has .vob files on it it will play in a DVD player? If so thats awesome, I thought I had to have a DVD burner...
@ Dino, This is a public forum, you don’t even have to register to post. That means, yes, TopsyTurveys opinion WAS in fact asked for. You asked for everyones opinion. If people would just FUCKING LISTEN TO EACH OTHER things in this world would be alot better.
