I just dl a movie, im pretty sure its a svcd. There are 2 folders cd1 cd2 then they both have a lot of zipped files. In each of these zipped things there is a bin/cue file. I extracted one on cd1 and it opened in VLC and now I am trying to get cd2 to work but i dont know which bin/cue to use. There are other files other than the zipped in the folders.
Thanks

Open cd 1 or cd2 with winrar.Select all from menu and extract on desktop and you are going to have a pair of cue/bin per cd.If you want to play the bin use Daemon Tools if not open Nero and go to burn image or if you have an older Nero go to iso and burn the cd point on cue and the bin is going to be burnt on your cd.

I have a questions.
First of all, i got lots of movies in my comp. and they are all in .avi format, but i looked everywhere to find converter from .avi to .bin and there are not converters like that. Ok so i found converter from .avi to .mpeg and my .avi movies is 699MB but when its converter into mpeg its 820MB which cant be fit on cd, even if i convert .mpeg into .bin and .cue. So my question is this:
Is there any kind of a program that converts .avi to .bin and stays the same quality and size so i can put it on my cd-r.
Thanks in Advance

First why do you want it to be a bin file whats wrong with leaving it as a .avi file. If its 699mb it will fit on a cd just fine. I just dont understand your motive here. Bin file cant be played on a dvd nor can .avi or .mpeg files so i dont understand. But look here anyways to see if you find what u need, chances or if they dont have it, then they dont make it. But do tell me why this is important am i missing something here.

.bin files can be played on any dvd player, but .avi cant be played on dvd. So i need some kind of a program to convert .avi to .bin.
If anyone finds oout how, please let us now.
Thank you in advance

So are you serious that .bin files in which is just a image can be played on any dvd player not the one on your computer but the one in are leaving rooms. If thats correct than i will find out right now for you and me.

A .bin file will not play on any dvd player at all. There is no program or anyone for that matter that says it can be done. IF you go to www.download.com they turn .bin files into dvd files{.VOB} so therefore its not possible nor will a bin file play on a dvd player. But they have many free programs and demo that turn .avi files into dvd format for you. But i have used them and done them so i know for a fact when your done conveting them into a dvd file it will normally be 2 or 3 times bigger than the original. So you will need a dvd burner to do it.

Ok let me take u through it, if u have whatevermovie.bin and whatevermovie.cue, for example i got Nero burner and i got to nero 6 and got to nero burning rom. I close a little window that pops up with nero burning rom and at the top find “recorder”, then find “burning image” and click on it. When windows pops up all u need to do is find that whatevermovie.cue movie where u have put it. Then another windows shows up and all u have to do is press burn and it burns in 5min or so. You need to have cd writer and blank cd-r and thats it. You can play that dvd movie on any dvd player. Thats what i have been doin for past 3 or 4 years.
But i need converter from .avi to .bin thats all, so my quality of the movie stayes the same because in mpeg quality sucks and mpeg movie after converted from 699 comes to 820 sometimes goes to gig and thats what i hate about it. But if there is a way to convert from .avi to .bin then i know a lots of people would be happy to know that there is a thing like that.

.Bin files do not play in any dvd player except the one on your computer. You must no something that nobody in the world does. Just google it nothing comes up. The only thing that comes up is converters that change .bin files into .vob files and thats what it takes to play on a standalone dvd player. Why would there be programs that cost money to buy to convert a .bin file to a dvd format if a .bin file can play on a dvd player. They don’t it doesnt make any sense. You are the only one on this forum that says it works. Everyone else wants to no how, because it can’t be done, unless u have a blessed dvd player.

ok this is very weird cause i have been doin this since a long time now. At the top i explaind how i do it, find the game or the movie with .bin and .cue and then just do the steps i explained above in nero to burn that image on regular cd-r and it will work, recently i did that with my unleashed movie and it worked. I played on my dvd player at home and my friends house and etc etc. I really dont understand how u people didnt know this before. Unbelieveble.

ROFL ok let me explain this to you. When you download a .cue and a .bin file that is a image of a disk. Its like this a .bin file is a exact copy{except for the copyright is gone} of the original disk. If you burn the .bin file to a cd it is no longer a .bin file it is now a replica of the original disk. Just pop in that burn’t cd and explore it, you see .vob files and not one file with .bin{OH maybe a really small one sometimes}. Ok you see now, so you want to know how to make a .avi or something to play on your dvd you must use a converter but it will easily double in size once you do that. So pls stop saying .bin files play cause once you burn the image its no longer a bin file but a exact copy of original cd or dvd. If you converted a .avi to a .bin file and burnt it as a image it would just burn the .avi file and there wouldnt be no .bin files to be found, and it would not play on a dvd. Hope you understand now

No you dont did you read my last post. Not trying to be a a-hole but you dont understand a image at all. Image is a replica of a disk. Lets say i have bob.avi and i turn it into a .bin file and burn it to a disk. Now lets explore that disk, and you see bob.avi on the disk not bob.bin on it. Just explore the cd’s you made that work on your dvd player. Now you should and will see .vob and .bup files on that cd. Get it, Got it, Good. I’m trying to help you dude so dont get mad. I’m just showing you that you misunderstood how the image things work. Really there are good posts in these forum that explain it a little better than i can. Just convert that .avi into dvd files using a converter.
