a PS1 game work on PC but does not work on PS1 ?!

I downloaded an image of PS1 game .. It consists of 4 files:
Crash123[NTSC].ccd
Crash123[NTSC].cue
Crash123[NTSC].img
Crash123[NTSC].sub
I used Alcohol120 to burn it to a cd ... but after that it worked propely with ePSXe(it is an emulator program for PS1) But when I try to put it into PS1 it does not work ?! it show me 2 options the first to display the contents of memory card and the second is to show me the sounds of the cd ... Until the sound of the cd does not work ?!
Notation: my PS1 device work with Pal and NTSC propely ?!

I also tried to burn the image with Nero ... but the problem does not finish
Also I tried another game ... and the problem repeated ... I can play it on a PC with an Emulator program but not on the Playstation1 device?!

I might be wrong, but I remember the oldschool ps1 games were burnt onto dark disks, I think they were black even. Im not sure if it was just to look cool, but i was certain it was an antipiracy tactic. As far as i know you cant just buy those.
