Want to convert Windows Movie Maker file to WMV! Please help

I have a samsung camcorder and when I tried to put a video on just a big exclamation point comes up what do I do?

well i use 2.6 and i have all thoes effects but i need help eetrhs one effect i really want but all the people i c that have used it have soney vegas do u reckon u can help me get the effect if i send u the link to the record that has it and the time in the record that the effect is used?

This solution does not work... this is where the problem is. I have a 15minute short film and it cuts the progress less than half way through saying there is an error and that clips are missing/file location can’t be found. When I exit the conversion and double click on the gaps in the film they suddenly reappear and function.

I have tried saving as movie perhaps 20 times now and have already missed my film deadline. So what do i do just to convert it? Can it not handle moderately large videos?

I’m trying to import a WMV (that was converted into WMV format with Prism converter) into Movie Maker, and it comes up with a 'missing codec' message. I’ve never had this problem before with other files. Any ideas?

why are people still asking this question i see this same question since 2009 why havent they taken care of this issue yet

I can’t save mine like that. Every time i try, it starts saving, goes up to 2%, then just stops increasing in percentage, and the minutes until it is finished continues to increase. What do i do?
