My WMM project file “seizes” and the screen goes black (in “pieces”) when I try to Finish my movie. I never get to selecting how to save to what kind of file/format. The file is 30 minutes long. I’m using XP and I have TONS of memory; and the source files are present and intact. Do I need a “Codec”? (This is all new to me--I’ve used WMM on other systems--this is the first time I’ve had this trouble, but I wasn’t in XP before when I made the project file.) Thanks.

i have same problem. there is no save movie or publish movie in my version of movie maker 6 in windows 7. i have save project and save project which both save my project as wsmmm

ohthis is so frustrating. Spent a while on a video for a song i made, and it just will not save no matter which way i try! keeps saying it’s unable to.. no reason why it shouldn’t work. what a waste of time and effort, and creativity :(

Guys, I got an e-mail from a friend, which had a video in it created my Windows Movie Maker.... After i downloaded the attachment, i tried to view it through movie maker, but i could not... Then i tried it with VLC i still couldn’t... Please tell me what to do...

I was frustrated this morning but if you click on “save movie file” just follow through and boom, there it is saved for you in a .wmv file format. Works great to put into EasyWorship.

you can not save it!! YOU NEED TO PICK THE CAMPUER ABOUT 2 OR 3 PICTURES BELOW SAVE AS. And it saves you in wmp format. I need 1 hour to figure this out so...
i have a probloem with this SHIT !
i already made a video clip with MM and then i try to save it but takes a long long fucking time to save it .. it suppose to be ..% in the load bar . buat all i have is .. the % is not work .. it still 0% . and the times remaining start to making me INSANE ! it says .. first .. 43 mnt . and then goes more .. on and on and on .. its like no end .. i wait it for like 1 hour still doesnt work .. and i see the time remaining is .. 16345 mnt . WTF ??
